Sadie's Soccer Team
The Wildcats played their last game today, which was none too soon, because it was freezing out there! They did not have a winning season, but I guess you can tell from the picture that they had a fun season. And, that's all that really matters anyway (well, that, and the snacks :))! They are going to play indoor soccer this winter, where it will be nice and warm. Go Wildcats!

The Masked Marvel
Friday, I took Samuel and Henry to see Michael Cooper - The Masked Marvel at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center. It was a great show and I would encourage you to take the whole family to see it sometime. He creates his own masks out of paper mache and they are magical. Here were a couple of our favorites:
This one he made after he had been bitten by a dog as boy. It was his attempt to make a "friendly" dog.

This one was the "giant". He stood on stilts and danced around the stage as if he were on his own feet. Very impressive! This man is very talented and the boys and I loved it!

Halloween
We took the kids to downtown Broken Arrow for trick or treating on Saturday night, and then w/ some friends of ours to downtown Catoosa on Sunday night.
Meet Jane Bennett, Elizabeth Bennett and Emma Woodhouse, characters from Jane Austen's novels Pride and Prejudice and Emma. Their meemaw made these dresses for them and my mom did their hair. They looked absolutely gorgeous!
At the Catoosa carnival, there was a booth that was giving away jars full of candy if you could say all 66 books of the Bible. Elizabeth and Sadie were able to and each got one!
