Lizzy's Surgery

Lizzy had outpatient surgery two weeks ago.  She had her adenoids taken out and her turbinates reduced.  It was something that probably should have been done a long time ago, because it caused her to have difficulty breathing.  She was a little nervous before surgery, so they gave her something to relax her.  You can tell she is feeling a little silly in the first photo.  Anyway, she did great and her recovery was quick.  They didn't have to pack her nose, which was a blessing.  Our church sent her some pretty flowers and her grandma brought her a new necklace and earrings to help the healing process. :)

Promotion Night

Our homeschool group has a promotion night at the end of the school year, to recognize the students' hard work and celebrate them moving to the next grade.  Silas graduated from Kindergarten, and as you can see, he was upset because he had to wear the hat.  Sophie graduated from 2nd grade, Henry (who had a baseball game and wasn't able to be there) graduated from 4th grade, Sadie graduated from 5th grade,  and Lizzy and Samuel both graduated from 8th grade.  I am very proud of all of them and am ready for a much needed break this summer!

Henry and the Cardinals

Henry is one game away from finishing his baseball season.  All the rain we have had this Spring has caused a lot of reschedules and has prolonged the season.  We played him down this year in his age bracket (he was playing on an older team for the last 3 years).  That being said, he got put on a new team that wasn't very good at all.  But, it has been a good time of learning for Henry.  He played 3rd base, Short Stop, 1st base and pitcher.  Even though his team didn't have a great season, Henry did and we are very proud of him.

Somebody's been playing with mommy's camera

You can see some little bitty toes down there :)

The Lion King

Sadie and Henry entered a coloring contest a couple of weeks ago and WON!  They won 4 tickets to see The Lion King and a goody bag of Lion King t-shirts, music, watches, keychains, and other stuff.  They got great seats on the aisle and their picture will be in the next edition of Tulsa Kids Magazine.  They are so excited and can't wait to go.
