My Golfer

I took this when I picked Sam up from his golf lesson today. I just thought he looked so grown up. He loves for me to just drop him off and usually his dad will pick him up. He is becoming a young man :(

Look What I Found . . .

waiting for me in the laundry room. I went into the laundry room to put in a load and Nicky had crawled up in the basket to play:

Pics of Baseball

One of the grandmother's from Silas' team took some pics of him for me. I forgot to charge my battery that morning and my camera was dead, so she was kind enough to take a few of him and forward them to me. So, here are a few:

The coach had to work the first game and his wife was helping. She didn't realize Silas batted left-handed until the next at bat.

The only thing Silas likes to do is bat, he doesn't like taking off his helmet and playing in the field. He will try to come into the dugout early and just sit and wait until it's time for him to bat again!

Silas and Baseball

We signed Silas up to play T-Ball this year. He is hands down the most excited about being able to play a sport than any of the other kids (Sophie comes in a close second). His daddy took him to Wal-Mart to do the grocery shopping the other day, and their first item to buy was a batting helmet. So, after finding one that fit, Silas insisted wearing it the rest of the time they were in Wal-Mart shopping (and they had quite a long list of groceries to buy). He ran through the door when they got home to show me, so I just had to take a picture. So, here is his forced smile for me. I will have more pics of him playing soon.

Aaron's B-day

Aaron turned 41 on Friday and we celebrated by taking him to Osaka for lunch after the girls' soccer games on Saturday. And, then we came home and had his birthday cocunut creme pie. YUM! Happy Birthday, Aaron! I love you! Some pics at Osaka: The kids loved watching him cook the meal.

I know this looks like I am giving a mean look, but he caught me just as I was turning to face him. He is always taking pictures of me when I am stuffing my face or when I am caught off guard. Anyway, I thought it was kinda funny:)

Nicky ate and ate, and ate some more:

He is making a volcano out of the onion for the kids:

Each one of the kids get to pick where they want to eat their birthday meal. I guess I know where we will be going for the next birthday :)

My Sam

Sam turned 12 this past December and I am just now getting around to getting his picture made. We thought it might be cool to include his golf clubs, since he enjoys playing golf so much. These are just the rough shots from the portrait site, so the actual pictures will be touched up and centered. I also wanted to share a little story about Sam. Lizzy was telling me the other day that in the Sunday School class, their teacher used to play a game w/ them. She would give them different events that occurred in the bible and they would have to put the events in order as they occurred in the bible. So, the class would break up into two teams and the team that Sam was on would always win. In fact, it got to the point where the kids would just let him put the whole timeline together by himself! I am so thankful that he has such a grasp on God's word!

Princess Adelina

We bought this dress for Sophie for Christmas, because she loves to play dress up. When I went to upload my photos to my computer the other day, I found this. I guess she had the girls take a picture of her while she posed :)

Help! I need a terperder!

While grading Henry's History the other day, I came across this: Priceless!

Introducing . . . The Bumblebees!

Aren't they cute! Sophie is really enjoying her first season of soccer. Here are some of my favorite pics:
