The kids had their piano recital this past Sunday. I have included a video of each of their performances. They ALL did an excellent job!  For those of you receiving this by email, you may have to click on the actual blog site to be able to view them.

Samuel

Samuel finished his bowling season this past Wednesday.  In the Fall, his team came in 1st place.  This Spring, he was placed on a different team and they came in 3rd.  He had a high scratch game of 268 and he brought his average up from 81.13 to 93.14 over the course of the season.  He has done a great job!

I put together a little video of Sam bowling in the Easter Tournament.

We are now ready for storm season

We have our new storm shelter installed.  The kids spent the day watching from the window as he dug the hole.  They couldn't wait to try it out, once it was finally in.

Lizzy and Eclipse

Lizzy's team finished 3rd in her bracket this season, finishing behind two teams that were a year older.  Their last game of the season they actually beat the #1 team 1-0.   It was a great way to end.  Lizzy played middle defender all season  and was a big part in keeping the other teams lead scorers from scoring.  She did a great job!

Sadie and The Wildcats

Sadie's team finished a tough 2nd place in her age bracket.  I posted a video of Sadie's game winning shot against the #1 team.  I was the one video taping, so I apologize for my poor taping skills.  The first part is the foul leading to the penalty kick.  At first, she did not want to take the kick because she was afraid she would miss.  But, her coach made her get in there and she nailed it.  It was pretty exciting, as you can tell from the video :).  This is the last season Sadie will play with these girls, because she is going up to a Rec + team next season.  It is a little sad to be leaving this team, because she has played with some of these girls for 4 years or so.  But she is excited as well, because the competition will be tougher and training will be more intense in Rec +.  And, I know she is up for challenge.

Silas and The Avengers

Silas had an awesome first soccer season this Spring.  Turns out, he is a natural at soccer.  The Avengers had a winning season and got a medal in the BASC Tournament.  Here are a few pics from the tournament:

 Shaking hands as Team Captain:

His first (and only) soccer injury:  He ran straight into the goal post while trying to score.

And, a few action shots:

Dentist Visit

Nicky had a couple of cavities recently that had to be filled.  He did a great job with no tears.  Aaron snapped a few shots of him for me.

He got to pick out some sunglasses at the dentists' office after:

And, Daddy took him to Wal-Mart to pick out a toy because he did such a good job.
