Fleece Tie Blankets
The girls have been busy making fleece blankets this past week. Their Aunt Sue taught them how to make these over Thanksgiving and they thought it would be fun to make some for their friends. Thanks for the idea, Aunt Sue! We've had a lot fun doing making them and I thought they turned out really cute! I'm sure their friends are going to love snuggling up in them.

This Christmas
Our kids have had a tradition of drawing names and buying a gift for that brother or sister. This year, they decided to combine their money and buy meals and shelter for the homeless at The John 3:16 Mission. Here they are with their daddy deciding what they wanted their money to go towards:

I am very proud of them for wanting to bless others this year!

Charlie Brown Christmas Dance
The kids were being awfully noisy upstairs a few days ago. It sounded like they were stomping and jumping and dropping things. It wasn't until I found my camera later that night, that I realized what they had been doing up there. I found a video that they had taken of themselves doing the Charlie Brown Dance. In case you can't remember what that dance looks like, here is a clip of Charlie Brown's Christmas:
And, here is the kids version. You may have to watch it a couple of times to catch what every one is doing, but pay close attention to Silas in the far right. It is too funny:
