Felicity Unit Study

Lizzy and Sadie love the American Girl Doll books and even have a couple of the dolls. So, they were excited when they were invited to do a unit study w/ a few other girls from our homeschool group. One of the moms was gracious enough to open up her home and teach the girls from these books. They would have two weeks to complete their book and then they would come together and discuss the life of Felicity, such as the political views of the characters in the book, how the girls dressed during that period, and what girls were taught and allowed to study.

The also learned a couple of dances that were popular during that time. It was a lot of fun for them.
