Day Trip to Arcadia

Last Friday, we took a day trip to Arcardia, Ok. It is located near Edmond and is the home of two very unique sites. One of them is this round red barn. Here are some pics we took:

From the road:

Some friends of ours went w/ us. Here are all of the kids standing in front:

This is an old carriage that was inside. Silas wanted to get in it. When I told him no, he kept watching me to see if I was looking so he could sneak up in it.

A neat little replica of the barn:

Someone had made a bunch of these cars made out of cans:

This is a picture of the roof of the barn:

All of the kids standing in the middle of the loft:

The other place we visited was Pops. It is a gas station/burger joint that has over 500 different kinds of pop. You can purchase any soda and they will make a shake or float for you. You can check it out at: There is a 60 foot tall pop bottle outside that is all lit up at night.

The whole gang waiting to eat:

The boys decided to get their own table:
Nicolas was so tired:
Here are some random shots of all of the bottles of pop:

If you get the chance to go, do it. The kids had a lot of fun!
