Our Neighborhood always puts together a bike parade for the kids during the 4th of July weekend. It rained on us, but the kids still had a great time. Here are some of our pics:
Henry decorated his scooter for the parade

We tried stringing some red, white and blue popcorn for necklaces, but it just didn't work out.
Rebekah and Lizzy stringing popcorn
Not too many children showed up for the parade because of the rain
We had two fire trucks escorting us through the neighborhood. Silas stayed behind because he was scared of the sirens.

After the parade, the firemen turn the hose on for the kids to play in the water.

And, so was the baby!
The prizes that the kids won at the parade. Because there weren't that many that showed, all of the kids ending up getting a prize! They had a great time!
