2 Months today!

Nicolas is two months old today. He is such a sweet baby, a little spoiled, but sweet. I am so glad he is a part of our family :) He is at the stage of cooing and smiling when he sees you and I love it! He is sleeping most of the night (except this week, he has had a little congestion) and goes right to sleep when we lay him down. Yay! Here are some pics I took of him today:

Soccer Snacks

Anytime your kids play any sport, the most important part of the game is ALWAYS the snack. So, Sadie and I decided to make her snack day a little fun. We made these cute little butterflys out of clothespins. We put homemade kettle corn w/ some food coloring for the wings. I got this idea from the Family Fun magazine. I love this magazine, because it has all kinds of neat craft and snack ideas in it that are easy for kids to make.

So fun!!

Glamour Girls!

I went to upload my photos onto the computer the other day and I came across some photos that Lizzy had apparently taken. I had just had Lizzy's pictures made a few weeks ago, so I guess she got the idea to do her own photo shoot w/ her sisters. :) Notice the backdrop she used. They are old baby blankets. I sure do love my glamour girls!!

My Valentine!

Most people are celebrating Valentine's Day on February 14th, but we celebrate the birth of our 2nd daughter, Sadie Ann. This year has been a little busy since Nicolas was born just two days after Sadie's birthday, so I am late on posting some photos. Sadie turned 8 this year and she is still as sweet and easy going as she was when she was born. Happy Birthday, Sadie Mae, we love you very much!!! You are the best Valentine's gift I've ever received!

Nicolas Isaac is here!

Nicolas Isaac was born last Tuesday, February 16th at 7:22 a.m. He weighed 8 pounds 1 ounce and was 20 inches long. Here are a few pictures of our special event.

Happy 10th Birthday, Josie Elizabeth!

Lizzy was born on January 17, 2000. It was a holiday, Martin Luther King Day, and we had had company for the long weekend in anticipation of her being born. But, she waited to come late Monday night, after most of our company had gone home. I remember sitting in the rocker w/ Samuel wrapped across my belly that evening and having a few contractions. I wasn't sure if I was really in labor or not, but we decided to go ahead and go to the hospital. We left the house sometime after 10:00 p.m. and by the time we arrived at the hospital, I knew I was in real labor. She came so fast! The doctor rushed in for me to push a couple of times and she was here. She was born at 11:48 p.m. that night, weighing 8 pounds 2 ounces. I will never forget that moment for the rest of my life. Lizzy, we are so happy that God gave us our beautiful baby girl! Happy Birthday!
