Goff Family Road Trip - Day One

We started out on our vacation this morning at 6:30 a.m. I wish I had a $1.00 for every time someone asked me if we were taking our Suburban on our vacation. I wasn't sure if they were concerned about our vehicle being older or how on earth we were going to fit everything in it. So, I thought I would include a couple of pictures of how we managed:


We made it to St. Louis around 1:00 this afternoon. Our first stop was to the Budweiser Brewery for a tour of their facility.

The first thing we saw were the famous Clydesdales:

And, Mickey, the mascot:

It really is a beautiful facility:

After the brewery tour, we checked into our hotel in downtown St. Louis and decided to walk towards Busch Stadium. There was a baseball game going on, so we ate hot dogs and hamburgers from a street vendor (which were really good) in the City Gardens Park.
